Awareness

Awareness (2023) is a Spanish sci-fi action thriller directed by Daniel Benmayor — watch it online on iFILM. Ian is a teenager who has spent his whole life on the margins, running small scams with his father by projecting visual illusions into strangers' minds. It pays barely enough to eat, and the plan only works if nobody notices.

One job goes wrong in the most public way possible. Ian's abilities flare out of his control, and within hours two rival organisations are tracking him — one wants to weaponise what he can do, the other wants it shut down permanently. Pedro Alonso plays his father, and María Pedraza and Oscar Jaenada lead the opposing sides closing in around the boy.

Director Benmayor keeps the pace tight and the action sequences grounded enough to feel real without abandoning the premise's stranger edges.
