Synopsis
The Black Donnellys (2007) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, created by Paul Haggis and Bobby Moresco — the writing team behind Crash. Set in New York's Hell's Kitchen, the series follows four Irish brothers whose neighbourhood loyalty pulls them straight into organized crime.
Tommy, Jimmy, Kevin and Sean Donnelly would do anything for each other. That's precisely what makes them useful to the wrong people. The story is narrated by Joey "Ice Cream," a local hanger-on who watched events unfold and couldn't stop any of it. Jonathan Tucker leads as Tommy, the brother with half a plan to get the family out; Olivia Wilde and Kirk Acevedo round out the central cast. NBC gave it one season — thirteen episodes — then cancelled it before the story reached a conclusion.
