Synopsis
Slaughter High (1986) is a British-American slasher you can watch online on iFILM. It opens on an April Fools' prank that goes badly wrong: a pack of high-schoolers humiliates the class nerd, Marty, and the gag ends in a chemistry-lab fire that leaves his face ruined. The bullies walk away without a scratch.
Years later, those same graduates get invitations to a reunion at their shut-down school. Streamers, name tags, a little nostalgia — and then the guests start dying, one by one, in nasty and inventive ways. Somebody clearly never let that April Fools' Day go. Genre icon Caroline Munro headlines, with Simon Scuddamore as the scarred avenger.
Three directors — George Dugdale, Peter Mackenzie Litten and Mark Ezra — shot it at the height of the eighties slasher boom. It's goofy, gory, full of cheap practical effects and built around a final twist that felt bold at the time. Pure comfort food for collectors of old-school horror.
