Synopsis
The Sea Wolves (1980) is a wartime action film you can watch online on iFILM. A German freighter sits anchored in the neutral Indian port of Goa, quietly radioing the positions of Allied shipping to U-boats that are sinking vessel after vessel. A direct assault is off the table — Goa belongs to neutral Portugal, and storming it would blow up into a diplomatic disaster.
So British intelligence tries the one approach nobody would expect. They round up a squad of grey-haired weekend soldiers from the Calcutta Light Horse, men who last saw a fight in another war entirely and have since traded rifles for golf clubs and gin. Posing as harmless old-timers, they board a creaking barge and edge toward a target the regular army can't touch.
Andrew V. McLaglen directs a lineup you rarely get in one frame: Gregory Peck, Roger Moore, David Niven and Trevor Howard. The plot draws on a genuine wartime raid pulled off by aging volunteers. The result is a breezy adventure where dry British wit rides shotgun with real sabotage stakes. Stream The Sea Wolves (1980) online on iFILM.
