Synopsis
Triangle of Sadness (2022) is Ruben Östlund's satirical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Carl and Yaya, a model couple, score an invite onto a cruise for the very rich. Yacht, champagne, perfect feed photos. The captain, meanwhile, is a Marxist who barely leaves his cabin and is rarely sober.
The gloss cracks fast. First over dinner between the captain and a Russian fertilizer tycoon, then during a storm that turns a black-tie meal into chaos. When the survivors wash up on a deserted island, the old pecking order falls apart: money buys nothing there, but knowing how to light a fire and catch a fish buys everything. A former cleaner, Abigail, suddenly runs the show. The cast includes Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean, Dolly de Leon and Woody Harrelson.
