Synopsis
The Flood (2023) is an American horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Brandon Slagle drops a group of prisoners and their guards into the worst possible version of a Louisiana storm — a massive hurricane floods the roads, the holding facility fills with water, and the surrounding bayou releases a pack of oversized alligators that are now very much inside.
Casper Van Dien plays one of the guards, Nicky Whelan is the sheriff trying to keep control of the situation, and Louis Mandylor is the high-risk inmate whose agenda complicates everything. The cast of characters is trapped in a shrinking building with two threats that have nothing to do with each other — and yet somehow they have to manage both at once.
The film runs 93 minutes and doesn't overcomplicate the premise. Flooded corridors, no backup coming, reptiles that don't negotiate — it's a straight creature-feature lockdown for fans of the subgenre. Stream The Flood (2023) online on iFILM.
