Synopsis
Quicksilver Highway (1997) is a horror anthology TV movie you can watch online on iFILM. Director Mick Garris adapted one Stephen King story and one Clive Barker story, held together by a single framing device on a desert highway.
Aaron Quicksilver (Christopher Lloyd) is a mysterious traveller who collects stranded strangers and then unsettles them with tales. Story one: a set of novelty chattering teeth develops an appetite. Story two: hands detach from human bodies and form their own lethal uprising. Matt Frewer carries the second segment; Clive Barker himself appears in a cameo alongside director John Landis.
Garris shoots it unhurried, leaning on atmosphere over gore — this is old-school anthology horror in the Twilight Zone mould. Lloyd finds exactly the right pitch for the storyteller role: a little too pleased with himself, a little too well-informed about how each tale ends. Stream Quicksilver Highway (1997) on iFILM.
