Synopsis

Triumph (2021) is a drama by Brett Leonard you can watch online on iFILM. Mike, a high schooler with mild cerebral palsy, fixes on a goal everyone tells him to drop: making his school's wrestling team and stepping onto the mat on equal terms.

Mike is played by RJ Mitte — the Breaking Bad actor who lives with cerebral palsy himself, which is why the role never reads as a pity case. Training hurts, the coach has doubts, his father is afraid for him, and Mike is also trying to win over a classmate using the one weapon he trusts: self-deprecating humor. Terrence Howard plays the man who finally gives the kid a shot.
