Synopsis

Matt Rossi co-owns one of those clubs. He used to box, until a punch killed a man in the ring and he hung up his gloves for good. Now the women on his stage are being hunted, the cops are getting nowhere, and Rossi decides to track the murderer himself. Tom Berenger carries the lead, with Billy Dee Williams as a sharp-tongued detective and Melanie Griffith as a dancer who lands in the killer's sights. Ferrara shoots early-eighties New York at its sleaziest — neon, sweat and menace, one step from pure exploitation.
