TV-GSeason 11
Synopsis
Season 11 of How the Universe Works (2010) is five episodes of science documentary you can watch online on iFILM. The show's most compact season stays closer to home, with more attention on our own Solar System and the probes working it right now.
The opener heads to the moons of Saturn, worlds that could rewrite the rules of the system. Next comes Mars, crawling with robots, where the newcomer Perseverance hunts for signs of life past or present. The third episode stages the most violent event the cosmos allows — two supermassive black holes crashing into each other. The fourth plays out a hypothetical 2029 in which an asteroid races toward Earth fast enough to flatten a city. A feature-length finale then tells the Solar System's own story, from its birth in the wreckage of a galactic collision to a lonely end.
The delivery is standard Science Channel — astrophysicists on camera, current mission data, graphics without the bluster. These five episodes run more hands-on than the theory-heavy seasons; Mars and the asteroid threat land closer to home than neutrinos or the edge of space. A friendly place to start.
