Synopsis
Shine a Light (2008) is Martin Scorsese's concert documentary about The Rolling Stones — watch online on iFILM. Filmed at New York's Beacon Theatre over two nights in October 2006 with eighteen cameras, including Robert Richardson's handheld work right at the edge of the stage.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood play a full live set with no safety net. Christina Aguilera joins Jagger for a duet; blues veteran Buddy Guy and Jack White of The White Stripes take the stage too. Between songs, archival interview clips show the band fielding the same questions across five decades and giving completely different answers each time.
