Synopsis
Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire (2023) is an Indian action epic you can watch online on iFILM. Deva, a quiet giant of a man, lives far from everything with his mother and keeps his fists down on purpose. A promise he made as a boy is what finally drags him back into the fight.
The story unfolds in Khansaar, a fictional city-state run on blood, loyalty and betrayal. Deva's childhood friend Varadha is the heir to its throne, and when his father's ministers and relatives move to stage a coup, he calls in the one person who can level the board. To put his friend in power, Deva unleashes everything he has spent years holding back. Prabhas plays him as a wall of stillness — barely a line of dialogue, all weight and stare — while Prithviraj Sukumaran carries the political scheming and Shruti Haasan rounds out the cast.
This is a sprawling Telugu blockbuster from the maker of the KGF films: the same worship of raw force, slow-motion carnage, and pounding score that scores Deva walking straight through a crowd of enemies.
