Prince: Sign 'o' the Times (1987) — watch online on iFILM — is Prince's own filmed record of his European tour behind what is widely regarded as his greatest album. Directed by Prince, the concert features his touring ensemble: Sheila E. on drums, keyboardists Dr. Fink and Boni Boyer, guitarist Miko Weaver, bassist Levi Seacer Jr., and dancer Cat Glover.

Eighty-four minutes of concert footage, no narration, no interviews, no explanation. Just performance. Prince in 1987 moved between soul, funk, R&B, and pop with a fluency that never felt like effort. The album had struggled commercially in the US at the time of release; the film was partly his answer to that. It did not fix the problem then. It made the case for posterity instead.
