Synopsis
Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly (2019) is a Netflix documentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Isaac "Chill" Yowman and White Trash Tyler. It runs 85 minutes and follows the making of Scott's Grammy-nominated album Astroworld.
Cameras were rolling through the recording sessions — including work with producer Mike Dean and Kevin Parker — the global tour, and the Astroworld Festival in Houston, the event Scott built on the grounds where the original Six Flags AstroWorld theme park once stood. The film also captures the birth of his daughter Stormi and the personal weight that sat alongside the commercial pressure of one of hip-hop's most anticipated releases.
What makes it more than a standard artist promo is the access. Arguments in the studio, late nights of indecision, the exhaustion behind the spectacle — it's there. Scott is not presented as infallible, which is more interesting than the alternative. Stream Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly (2019) online on iFILM.
