Unearthed

Unearthed (2007) is an American sci-fi horror you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Matthew Leutwyler. In the New Mexico desert, an archaeological dig breaks open a site sealed for roughly a thousand years — and whatever was buried there is not finished with the world.

Sheriff Annie Flynn, played by Emmanuelle Vaugier, is the reluctant authority: an alcoholic woman barely keeping it together who has to drag a ragged group of locals into something resembling a defense. Luke Goss and Charlie Murphy round out the cast. The film works as a creature feature grounded in a landscape that already feels like the end of the earth — flat, dry, and ancient.
