Revoir Paris

Revoir Paris (2022) is a French drama directed by Alice Winocour — watch it online on iFILM. Virginie Efira plays Mia, a woman who survived a terrorist attack in a Paris bistro. Three months on, she functions but doesn't feel it: she can't sleep, can't talk about it, and the night itself is a blank.

So she starts going back. She walks the same streets, finds people who were in the same room, sits with strangers who remember what she doesn't. Benoît Magimel plays her partner, steady and patient in ways she can't reciprocate right now. Winocour isn't interested in the politics of the attack or in resolving it neatly — the film stays close to the experience of a mind that sealed off something unbearable and the slow, irregular work of unsealing it.
