Nitta collects expensive vases and treasures his quiet routine, so sharing a roof with a small force of nature throws his whole life sideways. Hina can't just sit still: if she bottles her power up instead of using it, she'll eventually go berserk and flatten everything nearby. On the upside, her abilities turn out to be weirdly handy in gang business. Soon a second "doll," Anzu, lands in his orbit and ends up learning to survive homeless by the river, while Hina's middle-school classmate moonlights as a bartender. The show keeps leaping from absurd gags to oddly tender stories about strays and the makeshift families people fall into.
