Padmaavat

Padmaavat (2018) is an Indian historical epic you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and running close to three hours. The story is set in the 13th century. Alauddin has already carved out a fearsome reputation across northern India when a chance rumour about Padmavati's beauty reaches him. From that moment, getting her becomes the only thing that matters to him — not conquest, not governance, just possession. What follows is a siege of Chittorgarh that pits Rajput honour codes against overwhelming military force. The film doesn't shy away from showing Alauddin's cruelty, and Ranveer Singh plays him as something close to a force of nature: magnetic and terrifying at once.

Bhansali built every frame with the attention he usually reserves for his sets — the palace interiors, battle sequences and classical dance numbers all carry the same visual weight.
