Hit man Nick Lanzetta runs jobs for the Sicilian mob boss Don Daniello. When a rival Calabrian clan kidnaps Daniello's daughter in retaliation, Nick goes to retrieve her. He does. Then removes Daniello and takes the seat. What Nick doesn't see coming: Don Corasco above him has already made a quiet arrangement with the police, the politicians, and the Calabrians themselves — and Nick's head is part of the price.
