Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut make up the "perfect mismatch" of the title, while Jimmy Shergill and Deepak Dobriyal keep the comedy sharp.

Director Aanand L. Rai trades glossy Bollywood for a warm, regional story where the laughs come from character rather than gags. The role of the wild-card Tanu put Kangana Ranaut on the map.
