The Garden of Sinners: Oblivion Recording (空の境界, 2008) is the sixth chapter of the cult anime cycle, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Its title points straight at the case: stolen memories.

January 1999. Azaka Kokutou — Mikiya's younger sister and apprentice to the mage Touko Aozaki — lands her first real job. At her boarding school, Reien Academy, students keep losing their memories, and fairies are getting the blame. Azaka doesn't work the case alone: Shiki Ryougi rides along, the very rival she's desperate to outshine in her brother's eyes. Jealousy and investigation trip over each other at every turn.

Adapted by ufotable from Kinoko Nasu's novel, scored by Yuki Kajiura, with Maaya Sakamoto voicing Shiki. It's the shortest entry in the series and the most intimate — as much about a teenage crush as about the supernatural. Come in having seen the earlier films, or half the references will sail past.
