Synopsis
Among the Living (Aux yeux des vivants, 2014) is a French horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Three boys ditch class to poke around an abandoned movie studio backlot, hunting for trouble among the rotting sets.
They find it. A masked man is hauling a woman behind him on a chain, and the kids see him do it — then he sees them. The lazy afternoon flips into a manhunt with nowhere left to hide. Behind the camera are Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, the pair who made the brutal New French Extremity shocker Inside, and they go for the throat again.
Anne Marivin and Béatrice Dalle round out the cast as a childish dare curdles into a slaughter. This one is not for the squeamish: heavy on blood, light on mercy. Stream Among the Living (2014) online on iFILM.
