Synopsis
The Deep House (2021) is an underwater horror you can watch online on iFILM, directed by French duo Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo. Two diving YouTubers chasing the perfect video find a fully preserved mansion sunk at the bottom of a remote lake.
Ben and Tina swim inside a home that has sat underwater for decades with everything still in place — furniture, family photos, a child's bedroom waiting in the dark. Great footage for the channel. Then their oxygen starts dropping, the exit drifts out of reach, and they learn what happened in this house long ago. The horror plays out entirely below the surface, in cold murky water where the flashlight beam only ever shows you part of the room.
The filmmakers, known for the brutal Inside, shot in genuinely flooded sets rather than faking the dives, which is why the lack of air feels real and the panic lands.
