Synopsis
Killer Heat (2024) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Philippe Lacôte filmed it entirely on location in Crete: private investigator Nick Ponti, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is hired to look into a death on the island that the local police are happy to call an accident. The dead man is one half of a wealthy twin pair. The surviving brother, Leon — Richard Madden — is his exact likeness, and he is not especially eager for answers.
Nick starts pulling at threads. Leon's wife Lili, played by Shailene Woodley, knows more than she lets on. The family closes ranks. Beneath the white villas and the Aegean heat there is a long history of jealousy and money and unfinished business, and Nick is an outsider with no real leverage over any of it. The island keeps its secrets well.
