Synopsis

Straight from the Barrio (Talento de Barrio, 2008) is a Puerto Rican crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, built as a star vehicle for reggaetón icon Daddy Yankee.

He plays Edgar, a street dealer in a rough San Juan neighborhood where turf disputes settle in gunfire and a stray round can kill a child at play. Then a different road opens: a real shot at a music career as a reggaetón singer. Walking away from the gang, though, is never as simple as wanting to.
