The Gentleman

The Gentleman (Ya no quedan junglas, 2025) is a Spanish-Mexican crime thriller you can watch online, built around Ron Perlman as Theo, a retired soldier living alone with his memories. Once a week he pays Olga, a prostitute, for something simpler than sex: a conversation where he doesn't have to pretend.

Then Olga is murdered, and the quiet old man disappears. Theo goes hunting on his own, straight through crooked cops and contract killers who never expected anyone to ask questions. A burnt-out, hard-drinking detective named Iborra and a calm professional hitman called Herodes both circle in. Directed by Gabriel Beristain — a longtime cinematographer who shoots violence as something heavy and ugly rather than slick — the film leans on faces over dialogue.
