Synopsis
The Baby's Room (La habitación del niño, 2006) is a Spanish horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Álex de la Iglesia made it as part of the six-film anthology series "6 Films to Keep You Awake": young parents Juan (Javier Gutiérrez) and Sonia (Leonor Watling) move into a large old house with their newborn, drawn in by the space and the price.
The first night they test the baby monitor, someone is sitting beside the crib. From that single image, de la Iglesia builds eighty minutes of mounting dread without overexplaining a thing. The horror works because it locks in on a very specific parental anxiety — you can hear your child, you can see the room, and it is still not enough.
