Synopsis
Dance with the Devil (Perdita Durango, 1997) is a Spanish-Mexican action thriller from director Álex de la Iglesia — watch online on iFILM. Rosie Perez plays Perdita, a volatile woman whose past is soaked in violence and strange passions. Javier Bardem plays Romeo Dolorosa, a border criminal who flavours his heists with voodoo ritual. The two collide and immediately become something far more dangerous than either was alone.
Their run along the Mexican border involves kidnapping, shootouts, black-magic ceremonies and federal agents closing in from every direction. James Gandolfini and Santiago Segura turn up in supporting roles. De la Iglesia based the film on Barry Gifford's novel "59° and Raining" — the same source material David Lynch drew from for Wild at Heart.
