The Man of the Year

The Man of the Year (2003) is a Brazilian crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by José Henrique Fonseca and adapted from Patrícia Melo's novel. Murilo Benício plays Maiquél, an ordinary Rio de Janeiro man whose life pivots on a lost bet and one bad evening out.

Neighbours start making requests: a rapist here, a business rival there. The list grows, and Wagner Moura appears among the faces Maiquél encounters on his way down.
