The Colors of Fire

The Colors of Fire (Couleurs de l'incendie, 2022) is a French period drama you can watch online on iFILM. Paris, February 1927: at the lavish funeral of the city's richest banker, his daughter Madeleine Péricourt inherits a financial empire — and almost at once watches it slip through her fingers.

One tragic act by her young son Paul leaves her exposed, and the vultures move in fast. Stripped of her fortune and written off as a grieving woman, Madeleine answers with a patient, ice-cold campaign: blackmail, rigged deals, other people's secrets turned into weapons. Léa Drucker carries the transformation note for note, with Fanny Ardant, Benoît Poelvoorde and Olivier Gourmet filling out the ensemble.
