Synopsis
Kung Fu Cult Master (1993) is a Hong Kong martial-arts fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Jet Li stars as Zhang Wuji, a young man orphaned by a clan feud, raised with poison in his veins and a secret skill that half the martial world would kill to control.
Director Wong Jing adapts Jin Yong's novel The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber at full throttle: flying swordsmen, warring sects and a hidden cult all chasing two legendary weapons, plus a monk chained to a rolling boulder and wire-work by the bucketload. Sammo Hung shows up as a wise old master and choreographs a good chunk of the action himself.
This is less solemn wuxia than pure carnival — the plot moves faster than you can follow it, and the film flat-out stops mid-story, setting up a sequel that never came.
