LaLola (Seasons 1–2)

LaLola is a 2024 Mexican comedy-drama series — watch it online on iFILM. Directed by Francisco Franco Alba and Ana Lorena Pérez Ríos, it is a remake of the Spanish format La Lola that first aired on Antena 3 in 2007.

Lalo is a wealthy businessman who runs his personal life like a transaction — always in his favor. One morning he wakes up in the body of a woman. There is no explanation and no obvious fix, and in the meantime his company needs running, his family can't know what happened, and his closest friend is starting to ask questions. Barbara de Regil and Alexis Ayala lead the cast.

The series gets more out of Lalo's punctured assumptions than out of any body-swap mechanics — watching a man's playbook fail one rule at a time is the actual engine here. Watch LaLola online on iFILM.
