Angry Annie

Annie, a factory worker and mother of two, finds out she is pregnant and does not want to carry the child. Through acquaintances she reaches an underground network where women, without any doctors, help one another end unwanted pregnancies. What begins as her own private problem pulls her into something far larger: she stays on with the movement and learns to do the work herself. Laure Calamy plays her with no melodrama — an ordinary woman who gradually stops keeping quiet.
