Good Ol' Freda (2013) is a British-American music documentary you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ryan White. Its subject is Freda Kelly — a reserved Liverpool teenager who was asked, in the early 1960s, to run the fan club of a local band called The Beatles.
She stayed with them for eleven years. The Cavern Club nights, the tours, the fan mail arriving by the sack — Freda processed all of it and kept nearly quiet about it for the five decades that followed. This film is her first extended account: what the four were like as people, away from the photographs and the mythology.
