Synopsis
Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987) is Andy Sidaris' action romp you can watch online on iFILM. Two island couriers accidentally grab a stash of diamonds meant for a drug lord, and paradise turns into open season overnight.
Donna and Taryn (Dona Speir and Hope Marie Carlton) fly cargo between the Hawaiian islands until the wrong package lands in their hands. Seth Romero wants his stones back and sends his whole crew after them. Backing the women up are agent Rowdy Abilene and his kickboxing partner Jade. What follows is pure 1987 excess: skateboards, a bazooka, a helicopter stunt, and a contaminated snake loose on the island.
Sidaris delivered exactly what the tagline promised — pay the price for paradise. This is the gold standard of late-80s beach-and-bullets trash cinema: neon, endless chases, and gags that never apologize for being ridiculous.
