Synopsis
A Knight in Camelot (1998) is a family fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Roger Young. Computer scientist Vivien Morgan pushes a time experiment too far and lands, laptop in hand, at the court of King Arthur.
Medieval England has no idea what to make of her. Some take Vivien for a sorceress, others for a saint, and she happily plays along — a cigarette lighter and a little physics go a long way when you want to dazzle knights in armor. Whoopi Goldberg carries the whole thing with easy comic timing, Michael York rules as Arthur, and the Round Table is never quite the same once she starts rearranging the rules.
The story is a fresh spin on Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, swapped from steam engines to a portable computer.
