Synopsis

Sergeant Ryszard Król (Bartłomiej Topa) gets the blame. Refusing to go down for a colleague, he runs his own investigation, pulling a thread that leads from petty roadside shakedowns to serious money and the officials sitting above it all. The deeper he digs, the fewer friends he has left to trust. Arkadiusz Jakubik, Julia Kijowska and Agata Kulesza fill out the crowded ensemble around him.
Smarzowski shoots Poland with the gloss stripped off: the grime, the cynicism and the black humor run thicker here than in any polished cop movie. Seven men, seven deadly sins, and the director spares none of them. Harsh, mean and frequently very funny, it's built for fans of Eastern European noir with no happy ending in sight.
