Synopsis
El Sicario, Room 164 (2010) is a criminal documentary you can watch online on iFILM — the entire film unfolds inside a single motel room on the US-Mexico border, directed by Gianfranco Rosi.
The subject sits with a hood pulled over his face. He spent more than two decades as a hired killer for the drug cartels of Ciudad Juárez. He draws pictures on a notepad as he talks — explains how recruits were broken in, how interrogations worked, what a contract looked like, what it paid. His voice never wavers. No cutaways, no narrator, no music.
