Pirate TV

Pirate TV (Télé Gaucho, 2012) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Michel Leclerc. Victor moves from a small provincial town to Paris, lands a TV network internship, and finds it too dull almost immediately. A group of anarchic pirate broadcasters shows him there's another way to make television.

Armed with a camcorder and no editorial guidelines, Victor's reports cover what corporate news ignores: a funeral home owner, his eccentric girlfriend, the unglamorous daily life of working-class Paris neighborhoods. Sara Forestier and Éric Elmosnino star alongside him, with Maïwenn and Emmanuelle Béar in supporting turns.
