Synopsis
The Wolfpack (2015) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. Crystal Moselle's debut follows the six Angulo brothers, raised in near-total confinement inside a Lower East Side apartment in Manhattan.
Their father rarely let them outside, so movies became their only window onto the world. The brothers watched their favorites obsessively and acted them out scene by scene — building props from cereal boxes and tape, transcribing scripts by hand, staging living-room versions of Tarantino and Scorsese. Everything cracks open when one brother finally walks out the door alone.
Moselle met the boys by chance on a New York street and filmed them over several years; the result took the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 2015.
