Synopsis

Michael wants more power and keeps pulling dangerous stunts; his careful cousin Peter keeps putting out the fires. Peter works as an enforcer, yet his head is full of a dead sister whose loss once shattered the family. The only place he breathes is a battered neighborhood boxing gym — a refuge Michael's growing ambition is about to drag into the open.
Director Jérémie Guez delivers a brooding, unhurried drama with none of the gangster gloss, trading shootouts for silence and long, loaded stares. Matthias Schoenaerts plays the worn-down Peter, Joel Kinnaman the volatile Michael, with Maika Monroe and Ryan Phillippe alongside. One for viewers who prefer crime built on mood over gunfire.
