Synopsis
The Crew (2021) is an American sitcom you can watch online on iFILM, with Kevin James as Mike Trudik — chief mechanic of a NASCAR team who has run his garage exactly one way for as long as anyone can remember.
That arrangement ends when the team's longtime owner retires and hands the operation to his daughter Catherine. She wants sponsors, a rebrand, and a crew that doesn't look like it last updated its practices in 1998. Mike and his garage — a tight group of people who are very good at fixing cars and very bad at adapting — spend the season fighting every single change.
Ten episodes on Netflix, one season. James plays his stock type with enough warmth that you end up rooting for the stubborn mechanic even when he's clearly wrong.
