Synopsis
Double Happiness (雙囍, 2026) is a Taiwanese comedy-drama directed by Hsü Cheng-chieh — watch it online on iFILM. Tim Kao, head chef at a five-star Taipei hotel, is getting married to his Hong Kong fiancée Daisy Wu. One obstacle: his divorced parents refuse to be in the same room. Both demand a separate wedding.
A feng shui master then assigns the same auspicious date to both ceremonies — same building, different floors, one catastrophe waiting to happen. Tim, Daisy, wedding planner Regina and best man Tsai have to run two full receptions in parallel while keeping each parent in the dark. At 130 minutes the film earns its runtime: beneath the farce sits a grown son working out what his parents' split actually cost him, and whether he can start a family without repeating it.
