Synopsis
Whispering Corridors (1998) is a South Korean horror film by Park Ki-hyung, available to watch online on iFILM. A young teacher returns to the all-girls high school she once attended, where a friend died years before.
Every three years since, a staff member dies inside these walls, and the students keep whispering about a classmate who never really left. As the new teacher digs into the school's records, the real horror turns out to be the place itself — ruthless rankings, abusive instructors and the quiet cruelty of teenage girls under pressure.
The film launched one of Korea's longest-running horror franchises and reads as sharp criticism of a brutal education system. Don't expect jump scares; the dread builds slowly, and the ghost is almost gentler than the living. A good pick if you like atmosphere and subtext over gore.
