Synopsis
The Best Is Yet to Come (Le Meilleur reste à venir, 2019) is a French-Belgian comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Arthur works at a university hospital; César is perennially charming and perpetually broke. When César takes a bad fall, Arthur drags him to get checked out. A chain of misunderstandings leaves each man convinced the other has six months to live. Neither says a word — instead, both quietly start trying to give the other the best remaining time possible. Fabrice Luchini and Patrick Bruel make the dynamic between these two feel effortless and lived-in.
