Synopsis
Dancing with the Stars Season 22 — watch online on iFILM, 11 episodes, spring 2016. One of the series' tighter seasons by episode count, with a cast that more than compensated.
NFL champion Von Miller, MMA fighter Paige VanZant, actress Kim Fields, and Geraldo Rivera were among the twelve celebrities. Disney Night in week four brought elaborate costumes and integrated animation onto the dancefloor. America's Switch-Up then reshuffled the partnerships mid-season — each celebrity spent a week with a different pro, learning a new style under time pressure, which reset the chemistry every pair had built. Famous Dances Night sent everyone recreating iconic choreography from films and music videos rather than inventing their own. The semi-finals added a trio format; the finale came down to a redemption dance and a freestyle with three couples standing.
