Synopsis
The Prize! (Onde Mande!, 2023) is an Indonesian family comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. Angku Wan, a retired village teacher, lands a massive raffle prize from a soap company and plans to spend the billions on his community.
Then the old man dies before he can claim a single rupiah. So the whole village hatches a reckless scheme: collect the money by pretending Angku Wan is still very much alive. The plan starts unraveling the moment the company sends a representative to verify the winner in person. Director Paul Agusta plays it with affection rather than mockery — the poverty is real, but so is the warmth. Shenina Cinnamon, Emir Mahira and Jajang C. Noer fill out the cast.
