Synopsis
I'll Drop You (2024) is a Kazakh horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Anvar Matzhanov starts with an ordinary marriage and quietly bends it toward dread. Zharas and Almagul have been together for over a decade, and there is almost nothing left holding them.
Zharas does well at a big company, yet he treats his wife like a line item — he covers her expenses and ignores everything else, including her wish to grow on her own terms. Almagul starts drinking. One drunken scene in front of his boss pushes Zharas to send her off to a deeply unsettling "healer," and that is where the domestic story slips into something stranger. The cast includes Olzhas Abai, Dariga Badykova and Alikhan Idrisheva.
