Synopsis
American Spy (1991) is a Soviet Cold War melodrama you can watch online on iFILM. While his warship is on a goodwill visit to the United States, young officer Nikolai Korenev meets an American woman named Mary.
What flares up between them has no place across the Iron Curtain. A brief closeness with a foreigner brands Korenev a spy, and from there it's prison, an escape, betrayal by people he trusted, and a long road through hell. The love story curdles into a fight just to earn the right to be happy at all.
