Synopsis
Un homme d'honneur (2021) is a French drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Kad Merad plays Richard Altman — a judge with two decades on the bench and a reputation built on principle. One night his son hits a motorcyclist and drives away. The victim turns out to be the son of a drug lord. Coming clean is roughly equivalent to a death sentence.
Altman has spent his career holding others to account. Now he has to decide whether to protect his son at the cost of everything he built. Gérard Depardieu plays the figure at the opposite end — a man for whom law stopped being relevant a long time ago. Zabou Breitman and Rod Paradot round out a cast that handles the moral weight without overstating it.
